Initial Acupuncture Session Image
Acupuncture helps you reconnect with the healing source that is sometimes forgotten in the daily patterns of our modern lifestyle. An acupuncture session is usually one hour long, starting with intake, palpation of the pulse, and observation of the tongue. This is then followed by the insertion of the acupuncture needles at specific points in the body. The needles are sterile, one time use and they are much thinner than other types of needles. At times electrical current is connected to some of the needles. The needles usually remain in the body for 20 to 40 minutes.
