Four 8"x10" gouache signed prints.
These characters were created to help young adults find meaningful volunteer work in specific spheres of interest, including environmental, animal rights, LGBTQ+ rights, mental health, etc.
All of my work explores the intersections of nature, memory, human experience, seen and unseen worlds, and the power of authenticity. Moving between symbolic emotional figures, microscopic studies, specimen collection and the notation of natural phenomena, I invite viewers to consider vulnerability, transformation, resilience, and our relationship to the fantastic. I believe the art in nature awakens love inside us and serves to illuminate extraordinary beauty and tenderness in a world that sometimes obscures the sacred.
