9"x12"  gouache and ink drawing in a 12"x15" frame. Illustration of a bouquet cut from Common Ground Farm's U-Pick CSA, featuring an Autumn Beauty Sunflower, Zinnias, Marigolds, and Celosia--created by Common Ground Farm's Executive Director Sember Weinman for the 2026 25th Anniversary Auction graphics.

Sember grew up in Denver, CO, and has an MFA in painting from Pratt Institute, and a BA with a double major in studio art and environmental studies from Oberlin College. She is Common Ground's Executive Director, and also served as education director for 10 years. She creates many of Common Ground's graphics and promotional materials. Before Common Ground, she was the education director at Lehman College Art Gallery, and also has experience as a public school teacher in the south Bronx. Throughout her life and work experience, she has alway pursued her twin passions of art and nature, and often uses art as a lens to explore our very complicated and often contradictory relationship with it. Her work has been included in the Rocky Mountain Biennial, and she has had solo exhibitions both in her home state of Colorado and in New York.
