12"x12" cut paper collage in a 16"x16" frame. This artwork was created to celebrate and let our community know about Common Ground's summer U-Pick CSA. Parts of this collage can be found on the Common Ground Farm website and on Common Ground's 2025 farm marketing materials.
Sember grew up in Denver, CO, and has an MFA in painting from Pratt Institute, and a BA with a double major in studio art and environmental studies from Oberlin College. She is Common Ground's Executive Director, and also served as education director for 10 years. She creates many of Common Ground's graphics and promotional materials. Before Common Ground, she was the education director at Lehman College Art Gallery, and also has experience as a public school teacher in the south Bronx. Throughout her life and work experience, she has alway pursued her twin passions of art and nature, and often uses art as a lens to explore our very complicated and often contradictory relationship with it. Her work has been included in the Rocky Mountain Biennial, and she has had solo exhibitions both in her home state of Colorado and in New York.
