Zeinab Manesh is a 24-year-old BIPOC queer glass artist based in Beacon, NY, and the founder of GlassqueenZ LLC. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design's renowned glass department, Zeinab merges traditional Persian motifs with contemporary glass techniques, reflecting both their cultural heritage and personal identity. Zeinab has exhibited work in New York, Washington DC, Virginia, and Sweden, receiving critical acclaim for their unique vision. As an experienced instructor in glass blowing, they are committed to sharing their craft and introducing the complexity of living as a marginalized individual. Through their art, Zeinab explores themes of identity while introducing the beauty of Persian culture and art. With expertise in glass blowing, kiln casting, hot casting, and cold working, they aim to raise awareness of intersectional vulnerabilities while amplifying voices from marginalized communities. Zeinab speaks both Farsi and Turkish.
