A guided half day (3-4 hours including a lunch break) group hike for up to six people.  We will hike to the north summit of Storm King Mountain starting at the Stowell trailhead in the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson.  At several points along the way, and most especially at the summit, we will have spectacular views of the Hudson River, the Catskill Mountains, Breakneck Ridge and Mount Beacon. On the summit the group will break for 30-45 minutes for lunch (sandwiches & drinks provided by the guide) to take in the views, discuss the aesthetic and environmental history of Storm King Mountain, and rest up for the return hike. The winning bidder will contact the guide via phone or email to arrange a mutually agreeable date between April and October 2025.

Leading the hike is long time area outdoorsman Tom Bregman who has run, hiked, cross country skied, and mountain biked the Hudson Highlands for over 30 years.  He has well over 100 ascents of Storm King in every type of weather, from the heat of summer to the icy depths of winter.  This guided hike will take place on a TBD date in spring, summer or fall.  We will also schedule a rain date to assure clear skies, great views and perfect weather.
