Sterling silver necklace with enamel on copper

Inspired by my backyard mini flock, particularly HennyPenny, a senior hen of 13+ years, this piece features a silhouette hand-sawn from copper and fired enamel, with dangling silver feet. The egg shapes added to the chain, one stamped with a chick, create a playful paradox. The open egg shapes on one end of the chain are integrated with a S closure, offering two chain length options of 16” or 17”. The chain is finished with a dark patina, enhancing its unique character.

She explores primarily silver alongside other metals for their modest and humble characteristics, incorporating vitreous enamel while upholding a commitment to elegance and detail.
